Dr. Berris traditionally begins by making an incision just behind the hairline, known as the endoscopic technique. Next, he tends to the skin, effectively "lifting" the deeper layers of the forehead. Any muscle or tissue weighing down on your eyebrows is then removed, freeing the surgeon to shift your eyebrows to the ideal position. Once Dr. Berris smoothens the forehead and clears away any excess skin to his liking, he meticulously sutures the incisions to complete the procedure.

The Day of Brow Lift Surgery

The brow lift procedure will be done at our Sacramento facility. For your comfort, either IV "twilight" sedation or general anesthesia will be administered. Additionally, numerous monitoring tools are used both during and after surgery in order to keep a close eye on your vital signs. Once the brow lift procedure is completed, you will be moved to a recovery area. Rest assured, most patients report relatively little discomfort. While permission to return home the same day of surgery may very well be granted, overnight stay is also a possibility.
